Height: 5'10" / 177cmArcher isn't a character with a ton of stuff to go on, so this section is largely headcanons. As a general note, I like the interpretation of Team Rocket being more gang-like and extreme than they're showed in the games and anime, and my HCs reflect that. Real gangs are violent, kids animes are toned-down. Put two and two together and you'll end up where I am.

houndoom

- Is 100% in love with Giovanni. I sort of considered stopping the list here because what else do you need to know, really. He's obsessed and loyal to the death. (Is this reciprocated? Absolutely not. But that doesn't change anything. Archer doesn't need to be loved back, he just needs to be useful.)- Calculating! Cunning! Conniving! These are leadership skills.- Presents as calm, professional, and well mannered, but would absolutely choke out a child with his bare hands if they got in his way. Not that he's doing much of that anymore after his many promotions. Now he has employees to maim people for him. :)- YES he IS a headcase and YES he IS that messed up. Don't ask don't test him he'll do it. Proton might be going around stabbing people but Archer's the one ordering it.- Originally had a couple of shit paying menial jobs that he could barely make ends meet with, bosses treated him like shit, no chance of promotions in the future, was basically human trash, so he decided to join Team Rocket to make extra money. Honestly Team Rocket was more of the same and he was going to quit that too, until (insert vague inspirational event here) completely changed his point of view and had him pledge himself to Giovanni*, and see Giovanni's rise to success. (*Specifically Giovanni. He'd already pledged himself to Team Rocket, but that was half-hearted and insincere. With Giovanni, it was completely different.)- Vague inspirational event....... probably something along the lines of Archer and some other Grunts being sent on a job that was too big for them, and being absolutely beaten bloody, and trapped and awaiting their doom, when Giovanni shows up and takes out all the enemies on his own and finishes the job and gets them out of there. Probably said some shit about "You did good holding them off this long." A boss showing up and saving their lives and taking responsibility? Was a very big deal for Archer who believed at that point that all bosses were trash that thought their employees were scum, and that he couldn't rely on anyone but himself. (Also that cool-ass show of dominance and strength was hot as fuck.)- (Archer was, of course, a big part of his own problem up until then. People thought he was trash, so he gave them what they expected. Turns out all he needed all along was one person to believe in him* to turn things around so he could become the hyper-focused overachiever he was always meant to be.) *truth debatable- Black coffee is his best friend- Extremely expensive aged whiskey is his second best friend. Impeccable self control means he holds himself well, (until he doesn't and he falls down all at once. This is not a side people generally get to see.)- tbh he has an expensive taste in everything.- Has only three pokemon, Weezing, Houndoom#1 and Houndoom#2 (formally Houndour in HG/SS). For jobs that need them, he uses other stolen or borrowed pokemon as he sees fit.- (Houndour is evolved at this point because that was always the plan. Evolution = strength and strength = everything.)- Koffing was his first randomly assigned pokemon as a Grunt. He ended up keeping it around even after getting Houndour #1 because it was reliable enough and listened to him well. (Gee, because he's had it so long and formed a bond with it maybe? Not that he'd call it that.)- Received his Houndoom#1 from Giovanni as a Houndour (source: pokemon masters ex). Because of this, only the best will do for it. We're talking full raw diet here. Houndoom#2 gets a similar treatment, but no one can deny the one from Giovanni is clearly Archer's favourite. Houndoom#1 is the dominant of the two.SHIPPING

↓100% Giovanni-sexual wait I already wrote that. He's gay. Gay gay homosexual gay. And not to get into details here but his preferences are as kinky, aggressive, and violent as you might expect. His job is high-precision and stressful so he has SO much frustration and repression to let out, and what better way to do it.I am open to shipping him but there are a few caveats.- #1 is your character will never be more important than Giovanni to him. (Is your character Giovanni? As much as Archer-muse hates me for this, but I'm not interested in anything resembling a loving relationship with him and Giovanni. THAT SAID, if your Gio wants to order him around and use him, what else is a good righthand man for? :) )- #2 is general but if you wanna ship with me you better be ready for buildup, cuz there's gonna have to be a lot. Archer is open enough to fooling around with strangers occasionally to let off steam, but getting him to be serious or exclusive with you is very difficult, let alone getting the 'boyfriend' title. (Difficult, but possible, and I will help us steer things the right way, of course.)- #3 is any kind of relationship with him is NOT going to be healthy, so take that as your warning now. That said I LOVE BUILD UP I LOVE MESSY BULLSHIT the messier the better in my opinion lollll

EDIT ON THIS ONE I wrote this before I really started playing him and update: SPECIFICALLY he hates it as a form of dominance, because besides Giovanni he isn't going to REALLY submit to anyone. If he feels like he's in control of the situation however, FOR EXAMPLE he'd goaded someone into doing it, that's completely different. Weird power trip, yes, I know.- I said that he'll top you, but you do not want him to top you. He gets mean and controlling and there is a high chance that you WILL get choked out.- TBH half the reason I'm writing this page is because Archer-muse kept vocally volunteering that why YES, he DOES enjoy the thrill of holding another person's life in his hands.
